1Sam.1.10 - 18 "In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD.

And she made a vow, saying, "Almighty, O LORD , if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head." As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, "How long will you keep on getting drunk? Get rid of your wine." "Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief." Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him." She said, "May your servant find favor in your eyes." Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.

Hannah had been through so much in life, despite being loved by her husband, yet he married another wife when she couldn't have a child. Hannah was insulted and mocked by her co-wife, Peninah, who had sons and daughters and she was practically alone. The family would normally go to Shiloh every year to pray and offer sacrifices to God. Hannah would return from Shiloh the same way she went- SAD and UNFRUITFUL; until when SHE AROSE.

Hannah Arose From that place Of Unhappiness

This season, they went to Shiloh as always but she purposes not to return home without her miracle. She prayed and something happened for as soon as she finished praying, she knew that her case was SETTLED.

She believed God without seeing the miracle.

This woman of faith knew that her prayer had been answered, she went home with joy and fulfilment, and was able to inform her husband 'It is settled'. The beauty of getting one's miracle is when we remain in faith, even if the physical manifestation suggests otherwise.

Romans 4:17 "God calls those things that be not as though they were", all you need is to believe Him for His word even when the manifestation has tarried. He is faithful who has promised.

Those whose names were written as Faith ambassadors in Heb 11 had something in common,- the element of faith and holding on even in the face of No miracle! Some of them did not even get their promise, yet they held on to their faith.

WHAT MUST YOU DO AS A HEIR?

It is time for you to arise and demonstrate the faith that you claim to have in God. Arise, hold unto His promise and it will surely come. God bless you.
